Scottish side Celtic has completed the signing of Greek international goalkeeper, Vasilis Barkas from AEK Athens.
Barkas who has made 10 appearances for Greece has signed a four year deal with Celtic. According to reports, the Hoops have paid £4.5m for Barkas.
"I'm very happy to be here, it's a dream to come to one of the biggest teams in Europe, and I can't wait to play for Celtic," said Barkas.
"Winning medals and trophies is why I came here. I want to win 10-in-a-row, and I want to help us get into the Champions League," he added.
The 26-year-old already has experience of playing at Celtic Park, having been in the AEK Athens side which took on Celtic in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League back in 2018.
