Barcelona are reportedly putting together a new contract for goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is a target for both Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
The German international has been the club's most consistent player alongside Lionel Messi and the immediate former champions will not allow him to leave easily.
The club's president Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed last week that negotiations for a new deal were ongoing, and were hoping for positive news.
“For me, [renewing] Marc-Andre ter Stegen [is the priority],” Bartomeu told Mundo Deportivo.
“Not just for his quality as a goalkeeper, but also for his personality as a player, his manner, and the way he relates to people.
“He's a mainstay in the dressing room and for the future. For a goalkeeper, he's very young and he's already in the elite. At 28, he's one of the three best in the world.”
Ter Stegen emerged as a top target for Frank Lampard's Chelsea following current number one Kepa Arrizabalaga's struggles.
The club though have also set sights on the likes of Jan Oblak and Dean Henderson, even though both will not come on the cheap.
