Hospital authorities had to call in the military to help calm down an agitated Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozovic after he took a friend to a hospital in Milan, ESPN reports.
The reports add that the Croatia international took a compatriot to the hospital and panicked after the friend continued to bleed from a leg injury and demanded to be attended to ahead of other patients.
The hospital staff denied him the preferential treatment and called in the police who were overwhelmed by the midfielder and they had to eventually call in the military.
The military intervened and threatened Brozovic with serious consequences should he carry on with his demands. He then calmed down, apologised and waited patiently in line with other patients.
Brozovic has made 31 Serie A appearances for Inter and could help them to a second-place finish if they avoid defeat against Atalanta on Saturday.
