Crystal Palace is set to raid relegated Watford for the services of striker Ismaila Sarr.
Watford is set to lose a chunk of players following their relegation to the Championship and Sarr is believed to be one of those who are expected to stay in the Premier League.
The Sun reports that Palace sees Sarr as a replacement for Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha who has once again been linked with a move away from the club.
Sarr was on Palace's radar a year ago when Hornets splashed out £30m to bring the Senegalese star from French side Rennes. The club’s failure to allow Zaha leave meant that Roy Hodgson shelves his plans of getting Sarr who went to join Watford.
Sarr was one of the most outstanding players for Watford despite their relegation and was an instrumental figure when Watford dismantled champions Liverpool unbeaten run in the Premier League.
Apart from Sarr who might be expensive, Palace has earmarked 20-year-old Dwight McNeil of Burnely but the player is believed to be attracting offers from bigger clubs too and would first consider his options before signing for Hodgson.
Apart from Palace, Sarr is said to be in the radar of Wolves who are exploring their options should they lose Adama Traore in the summer.
