English Premier League champions Liverpool and Norwich City have reportedly failed to reach an agreement for the transfer of Jamal Lewis while the club is also on the verge of securing a deal for Konstantinos Tsimikas.
Norwich have rejected Liverpool's first bid of £10m for Lewis' signature as the side wanted double the fee they were offering, however, it's not all lost for the 22-year-old who has emerged on the radar of several clubs.
The Northern Ireland international was looking to fight for his place in the Liverpool starting lineup rather than be a back-up to first-choice Andy Robertson.
The Independent can also confirm that Liverpool had four potential left-backs they were looking at and now it appears the Greek international is at the top of the list.
The 24-year-old is set to arrive at the club next week to undergo his medical and agree to personal terms.
