Leeds United to purse Freiburg defender Robin Koch this summer

Leeds United have shifted their interest to Freiburg defender Robin Koch following their struggle to reach an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion for Ben White.

According to reports from The Sun, Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa is considering Koch as a potential transfer this summer and it is believed that the club is willing to splurge £20million.

The 24-year-old has also emerged on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Lazio and RB Leipzig following his top performances for Freiburg.

Koch registered two goals from 34 appearances across all competitions during the 2019/20 season for his club.

He has been capped twice for his native Germany national team.
