Bologna manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has tested positive for the COVID-19, the club has confirmed.
The Serbian tactician is, however, symptomatic and will follow all laid-down guidelines, including isolating for two weeks.
The manager was diagnosed with leukaemia in July 2019, undergoing chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
"Having returned to Bologna on Friday, Sinisa Mihajlovic has tested positive for COVID-19. Our Coach is completely asymptomatic but will remain in isolation for the next two weeks in line with national guidelines," read a statement from the club.
Adding: "The entire Primavera team group underwent medical tests in the past few days with all the results returning as negative. First Team players and staff will undergo tests tomorrow.
The coach might now miss a part of the team's pre-season as they prepare for the Serie A season, which is set to kick off in September.
He already missed last summer's pre-season as he underwent treatment for the Leukaemia.
