Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama as Montreal Impact recorded a 2-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps in an MLS game played on Wednesday morning.
It was the first game in a month for the Thierry Henry coached side who took an 18-minute lead through Quioto. Lappalainen added the second in the 40th minute with Wanyama playing in the entire match.

Meanwhile, back in Kenya, goalkeeper Robert Mboya has extended his stay at Tusker FC for another one and a half years.
Mboya move is seen as a security for Tusker as they are expected to lose Rwandese Emery Mvuyekure who has been linked with a move to South Africa.
The news comes a day when there have been reports that AFC Leopards have acquired the services of midfielder Fabrice Mugheni from Rayon Sports this after capturing the services of Peter Thiongó from Kakamega Homeboyz with former KariobangIS harks keeper John Oyemba being linked with the team too.
