Former Absa Premiership and Kaizer Chiefs star George Lebese announced himself in America’s Major League Soccer on Wednesday night.
Lebese, who became clubless after failed stints at Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United, made an unexpected move to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.
The 30-year-old winger’s start at the club was interrupted by Covid-19, before Wednesday night’s substitute blinder.
With his side trailing 4-1, Lebese created two assists for 4-3, before driving home a distant flyer in the net for 4-4 in the dying minutes.
