📝 Liverpool youngster Williams signs long-term contract 

Liverpool youngster Rhys Williams has signed a new long-term contract with the Premier League champions. 

Williams spent last season on loan with National League North side, Kidderminster Harriers where he gained valuable experience, making 26 appearances. The 19-year-old, who joined Liverpool as a U10 and progressed to age groups played a key role in the Youth Cup-winning team of 2019, has been capped by England at U18 level

The England international signed his first professional contract with the club in the same season, as well as making a breakthrough into the U23s setup. 

"The defender is expected to begin the season with Barry Lewtas’ under-23s squad," Liverpool confirmed through their official website.
