Ex-busua Dwarfs head coach Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah has revealed officiating and low respect forced him out of the game.
Prof Mintah disappeared from the Ghana Premier League when he left Dwarfs five years ago, despite being a talented coach.
So why has he abandoned his career at the top level?
”Several factors forced me out. The respect is not there; when you are doing the right thing, the recognition is not there,” he said via Ghanasoccernet.
“Those are some of the issues that made me leave. Those times, officiating was very poor. You prepare your team very well and then you are just booted out by seconds.
“If all those things change and we put in measures to address them, people will see me back. I can’t wait to come back,” he added.
Meanwhile, Prof Mintah has an exciting possibility of returning to the national team after his recent application for the Technical Director role.
