Former Orlando Pirates assistant coach and Bafana Bafana star Bradley Carnell has began coaching New York Red Bulls in a caretaker capacity.
Carnell, who moved to the American club in 2017, gets his new role after the club parted ways with former head coach CJ Brown last week.

With just nine games in the season, Carnell's team sits on seventh position with 11 points.
