As new Barca boss Ronald Koeman is looking to improve his side, reports have emerged that the former Netherlands boss has turned his attention to Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
The Catalan giants have already been linked with a swoop for Georginio Wijnaldum, and according to Ajax's record appearance holder Sjaak Swart, the Egypt international is also on Koeman's wishlist.
Speaking to website voetbalzone.nl, Swart said: "I know Koeman wants him – and I know Salah would like to go."
The 82-year-old, however, was reluctant to reveal his source of the information, simply responding with: "I can't. I am not going into any more details, but just believe me that I know."
Salah netted a hat-trick in Liverpool's first game back as the reigning champions defeated Leeds United 4-3 in an opening-day thriller at Anfield yesterday.
The 28-year-old has chalked up a total of 97 goals in 154 games for Jurgen Klopp's side in all competitions since his arrival.
