European giants Juventus and FC Barcelona are interested in the services of Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo.
Cancelo has a running contract with City until 2025 but has found games had to come by after joining the team from Juventus in 2019 but Mundo Deportivo reports that the Portuguese international is attracting interest from Barcelona too with Juve keen on re-signing him too.
City is seeking a bumper fee for the defender and Barca have attempted a swap involving Nelson Semedo, but City is insisting on a straight cash deal.
Barcelona is said to be in need of City defender Eric Garcia too after he refused to sign a new deal but with Guardiola having promised the Spaniard first-team opportunities, it is thought that he is considering to extend his stay in Manchester.
City is in the market for another central defender having been linked with Kalidou Koulibaly but with the deal uncertain, they are likely to keep their players so as not to fall less in the department once the season begins.
