Tottenham Hotspur are keen to beat Manchester United to the signature of Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilon.
According to David Ornstein, Spurs are edging closer to agreeing a permanent deal to secure the services of Reguilon. Further reports suggest United have been in touch with the Real Madrid left-back but no agreement has been reached.
Reguilon spent last season on loan at Sevilla and it is reported that the Los Blancos are open to selling him, with the Red Devils among the clubs informed on the same. Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and company are said to be considering making a bid for the 23-year-old, who impressed as Sevilla lifted the Europa League.
United have Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams as their two left-backs at the moment but will be open to adding one more to their ranks.
