Emiliano Martinez was the longest-serving player before he made his switch to Aston Villa.
Martinez had been Arsenal's most loyal player with over seven years in the first-team. Martinez had struggled to break into the first team that saw him loaned out on six different spells. The 28-year-old got his first real opportunity to be in between the sticks following an injury to first-choice keeper Bernd Leno.
He was the most loyal player with over seven years in the first-team under his belt prior to his departure.
1. Mesut Ozil
And now his departure leaves Mesut Ozil, who has been frozen out in recent months under Mikel Arteta as the longest-serving player at the Emirates.
Ozil signed for Arsenal in September 2013 in a £42m move from Real Madrid.
Full-back Hector Bellerin is second with just over six years in the Arsenal first-team following his move from Barcelona. However, the Spaniard has been at the club longer but spent a year away on loan in that time - a season-long stint at Watford in the 2013-14 season.
3. Calum Chambers
Calum Chambers comes in third having joined just one month after Bellerin signed his Arsenal contract in 2014.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles, another full comes fourth, having made his Gunners debut five years and eight months ago.
