Wolves forward Diogo Jota to complete move to Liverpool

Portugal international Diogo Jota has completed a move to Premier League champions, Liverpool, ahead of the 2020/21 season.

According to Goal, Jota has been heavily involved in talks with Liverpool as Ki-Jana Hoever makes his way to Molineux.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has heaped praises on the signing of Hoever and hopes he will add value to his ambitious squad.

“Liverpool are going to have a great player and boy, and Ki has a bright future ahead of him," Nuno said.

“We think this deal is good for everybody. Diogo was really happy here, but it's normal that players like to face new challenges.”

Jota signed with Wolves in the summer of 2017 from after coming through the ranks of La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

The teenager makes the move to Liverpool having registered 44 goals and 19 assists in 131 appearances across all competitions for Wolves.
