Chelsea have reportedly completed the signing of Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
The Blues have been chasing the 28-year-old for weeks now, and seem to have captured their man on a night Kepa Arrizabalga blundered, again.
The deal, reported to be worth around £22m, is now set to be announced this coming week, which could signal the end of the Blues' busy summer.
Arrizabalaga has come under constant criticism ever since arriving from Athletico Bilbao in a world-record fee for a goalkeeper, and it got worse this past season.
He was dropped by Lampard on two different occasions, with Lampard preferring Willy Caballero instead.
The Englishman came to Kepa's defence following their 3-1 over Brighton last week, in a match he once again erred.
It got worse on Sunday night after yet another howler, allowing Sadio Mane to score as the Blues lost 2-0 at home to Liverpool.

Mendy's arrival could mean more competition for the starting berth, with the Senegal international having excelled for the French side as they qualified for the Champions League.
