Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi is pushing for an exit from the club before the current window shuts.
Odoi has been left out of Chelsea’s starting team in their first opening two games of the season and with his future at the club looking bleak, a loan move somewhere will do him good as he seeks to boost his chances of making the England Euro 2021 squad.
Reports from talkSPORT indicate that the 19-year-old who has fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner wants a loan move to Bayern Munich with the Bundesliga giants having expressed interest in signing the player in the past.
He, however, did play the full 90 in the 6-0 Carabao Cup defeat of Barnsley on Wednesday with manager Frank Lampard heaping praise on the player.
“I think he did well. Not easy with not so many minutes, he is the same as some others in the same boat at the moment.
“I thought at parts he looked fresh and sharp. We talk about work ethic, which he showed really well in terms of getting the ball back for us, recovery runs, all the things which must be absolutely standard in his game.
“If you look at the top wingers in the Premier League and how they play. He showed loads of great moments. I was really pleased with Callum, I thought he had a good night,” Lampard said.
The player struggled last season, scoring only three goals in 33 appearances, and has played just ten minutes of Chelsea’s first two Premier League matches this term.
