Christian Pulisic will be available for selection this weekend when Chelsea take on Crystal Palace but the game will be too soon for Hakim Ziyech, says Frank Lampard.
Ziyech and Pulisic are yet to feature for Chelsea this season but Lampard is positive the pair will be fit after the international break. Pulisic picked up a hamstring strain during the Blues FA Cup final against Arsenal and was expected to be available against Brighton but it was revealed that the USA international suffered a setback.
Meanwhile, summer signing Ziyech suffered a knee injury in a pre-season friendly against Brighton. Speaking to the media on Friday, Lampard said, "Pulisic is in the squad for tomorrow. He won't start, it's great to have him back."
"Ziyech is getting closer but not close enough to be on the bench," he added.
Lampard also spoke about the prospect of having two of his best-attacking players back and admitted he is very excited.
"I think they will all bring the best out of each other. It's a shame we haven't had them. Hakim will bring something completely different for us.
"I am very excited to have them fit. I have a clear idea of where I want them to play."
The Blues will host Crystal Palace on Saturday evening at the Stamford Bridge.
