Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho scored and missed a penalty in Nigeria’s 1-1 against Tunisia in an international friendly on Tuesday night in Austria.
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr made wholesale changes after the loss to Algeria last Friday with no less than five changes.
Skipper Ahmed Musa brilliantly played through Iheanacho to finish with aplomb for Nigeria’s 1-0 lead on 21 minutes. A few minutes later it could have been 2-0, but Iheanacho’s penalty failed to hit the net.
Tunisia’s Mohamed Drager equalized for the Carthage Eagles before half-time and eventually ensured a share of the spoils.
