Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has sent an inspirational message to the club's fans, following their triumphant night in Paris.
Fernandes captained the Reds as they saw off PSG 2-1, in their opening group match of the 2020/21 Champions League match.
In a social media post, the Portuguese called on supporters to fight for their dreams, and also took pride in captaining the club during the memorable win.
“Another dream come true and crowned with a victory in the Champions League,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
“It is an honour and an enormous privilege to have been captain of a club like Manchester United, an unspeakable moment of strong emotions for me. Believe and fight for your dreams every day until you can live them with your eyes open.”
Fernandes may lead the club again over the weekend against Chelsea if Harry Maguire will not have recovered to start.
The Englishman picked an injury last week while on duty with England, but recovered to face Newcastle last weekend.
Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was however optimistic he will have his captain for the weekend clash.
