Nigeria Professional Football League side Katsina United will be looking for a new coach following Henry Makinwa’s exit.
It is confirmed that Makinwa resigned on Monday, with reports saying he was forced out due to missing payments and departed players.
“NPFL insider confirmed that the former ABS of Ilorin of gaffer has resigned his appointment with the Northern club on Monday,” wrote Brila.
“It is understood that Makinwa left his role as a result of unpaid salaries and coupled with the exit of several key players from the Club.
“Makinwa signed for the club at the beginning of last season and helped the club to retain their premier league status for next season,” added the outlet.
