Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on his team ahead of their Champions League tie against RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
The Norwegian will hope that they can replicate the results they had against PSG on matchday one and with virtually a full squad to choose from, the tactician sounded optimistic in his post-match presser.
“It’s more or less the same squad. There are a couple of doubts, as you normally have after a weekend game, a tight game as we had against Chelsea. I think we’ve more or less the same squad,” Solskjaer said.
Eric Bailly and Jesse Lingard are likely to be the only absentees for the Group H clash with Edison Cavani expected to debut for the cub in the European competition.
Anthony Martial is also available for selection and should lead United's attack despite scoring an own goal in the PSG game with Alex Telles and Axel Tuanzebe all available for selection after missing the club’s weekend game against Chelsea.
Fred and Scott McTominay have been partnered in midfield for each of United’s three games since the international break, with Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Donny van de Beek having to settle for places on the bench.
