Danish Superliga side Vejle BK have announced the departure of Ghana international Raphael Dwamena after his loan deal was terminated after two months.
Dwamena was shipped out on loan to Real Zaragoza last season where it was discovered that he had an underlying heart condition which eventually cut his campaign short.
He eventually underwent surgery after the extent of the condition was determined and had Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) rectified.
''I am truly grateful for the opportunity that Vejle Boldklub gave me to play football again. Now I have been taken off the field and am under medical supervision,'' Dwamena told the club's official website.
''Despite not being able to be on the pitch, I still want to help the club achieve its goals.
''Therefore, I would also like to say to both my teammates, the staff and the fans that I am proud to be part of the Vejle Boldklub family.''
