Midfielder Jack Wilshere is ready for anything as he seeks to find a new club after parting ways with West Ham.
Wilshere and West Ham agreed to mutually terminate their relationship with the player going on to accuse some of the club fans of disrespect after they asked why he wasn’t playing despite being one of their highest earners.
The former Arsenal man has since been linked with moves to Scotland with Rangers and the MLS but in an interview with Sky Sports, he admitted that he was open to anything.
“Im open to pretty much anything. I want to play for any club where I’ll feel important and be part of them as an important player. I really just want to play games where I can get my confidence back and enjoy football again and have a smile on my face.
“I think I feel I can still do the things I did when I was a little bit younger. I don’t want to name clubs (interested in his services) and the people I spoke to but it’s always good to speak to people who rate you as a footballer,” Wilshere said.
In the MLS, the player is said to be on the radar of DC United but playing for Steven Gerrard at Rangers is said to be another option for his table even though it isn’t clear if the Scottish giants can match his wage demands.
