He's certainly one of the best players never to win the UEFA Champions League, and you can be sure that Zlatan will remind you of the fact.
🔮 The legacy
Like a fine wine, the legendary 39-year-old Swede seems to be finding new elements to his considerable talent as a footballer during a second spell with AC Milan.
Zlatan made his professional debut in 1999 for Swedish side Malmö before Ajax Amsterdam came calling. It didn't take long for Europe's superpowers to take notice of the giant striker but Juventus won the battle for his signature in 2004. He jumped around Italy, scoring goals wherever he went, before the most high-profile swap deal in European club football history which saw him and Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o swap places.
The move didn't work out as planned and Zlatan returned to Italy with Milan and won the Scudetto in 2011. A hugely successful and goal-filled spell in Paris followed before his legendary "farewell tour" campaigns with Man United and LA Galaxy. Everywhere he went, he found the back of the net and collected silverware. He also delivered the goods for Sweden and scored an outrageous bicycle kick from more than 30 years against England that still seems to defy the laws of physics.
And just when we thought Zlatan was done after scoring almost a goal a game with the Galaxy in Los Angeles, he returned to Italy for one last dance. And that's where we currently stand.

🏆 The success
Zlatan Ibrahimović has collected 31 trophies during a glittering career in Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France, England & The United States. Wouldn't it be fitting if he picked up one more Scudetto to go with the other three medals in his collection? Surprise-package Milan has started the season well with five wins and two draws from their opening seven top-flight outings. Zlatan's vast experience and winning know-how will be key if this young, emerging side is to take the Rossoneri back to the top of the tree. Where it belongs.
Zlatan and his Milan colleagues will have to wait until November 22nd for their next taste of Serie A action when they travel to Napoli.
