FC Barcelona is set to welcome back keeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen in their Wednesday Champions League tie against Dynamo Kiev.
Ter Stegen is yet to make an appearance for Barca this season following a knee injury but was included in the club’s squad for the Wednesday tie.
The shot-stopper underwent an operation in August which had ruled him out of the opening weeks of the campaign but according to a report from Diario Sport, the player has been given the all-clear to feature in the game.
The keeper who signed a new deal with the club last month has been a key member of the team has managed 46 matches for the club last season.
In his Ter Stegen absence, Barca has used back p keeper Neto as a cover-up but the return of the German who joined the club from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2014 for €12m will be a huge boost for the side who have started their season in a slow fashion.
