Another Soweto Derby is here to thrill as Kaizer Chiefs host fierce enemies Orlando Pirates in an MTN8 semi-finals second leg game at the FNB Stadium this afternoon.
While Pirates have nearly killed the contest with a 3-0 win last weekend in Orlando, there is so much pride and fight to see in Soweto this afternoon.
It is rather pointless to babble on about how deep the meaning of this game is to the two clubs, except just for the key note that Pirates will be playing to honour coach Josef Zinnbauer, who is in Germany to support his critically injured son.
As far as reported injuries, Amakhosi remain without Samir Nurkovic, while Bucs will miss Gabadinho Mhango and the likes of Thulani Hlatshwayo, Terrence Dzvukamanja, and Thembinkosi Lorch face late fitness tests.
Chiefs' Gavin Hunt has repeatedly moaned the thin squad and therefore makes it easier to predict his side. As for Pirates, three injury doubts to key players still makes Pirates the hardest team to predict a line-up for, such as the depth in the squad and selection rotations. But we try anyways...
Chiefs: Akpeyi, Moleko, Cardoso, Ngezana, Zulu, Katsande, Blom, Ngcobo, Manyama, Billiat, Castro.
Pirates: Ofori, Jooste, Nyauza, Jele, Maela, Monare, Motshwari, Ndlovu, Pule, Hotto, Lepasa.
Match kick off will be 15:00.
