Huddersfield Town to revive interest in Newcastle United winger Roland Aarons

English Championship side Huddersfield Town are reportedly considering a move for Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons ahead of the January transfer window.

According to Yorkshire Live, Huddersfield were on the verge of securing Aarons' signature this past summer transfer window but the deal failed to materialise at the last minute.

The same report claims that The Terriers chairman Phil Hodgkinson revealed that the club will be reviving their interesting again in January.

“He’s our top target, he remains so, and what we’d rather do is get through the next 10 weeks to January and get it done then rather than bring in somebody that maybe doesn’t tick all the boxes Rolando did," he said.

It seems like the 24-year-old will not be in Steve Bruce's plans going forward, considering the loan spells he has gone on and a move would be inevitable where he will be guaranteed game time.
