Arsenal and Gabon superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has called out the Gabon FA after the national team players waited six hours at an airport.

Ahead of Gabon’s AFCON 2021 Qualifier against Gambia away on Monday, Aubameyang took to Instagram to express his frustration in the early hours of this morning.

While he posted in a light-hearted tone, the Arsenal striker nevertheless made his point clear in a series of posts:

"Still waiting to enter Gambia, and we play at 4pm. Nice."

“They will not discourage us".

"Finally in the bus. Thanks for the extra motivation, Gambia," Aubameyang wrote.

The 31-year-old French-born striker concluded his reactions on Twitter with a more serious and hopeful message to CAF.

"It will not demotivate us. But people need to know and especially that CAF takes these responsibilities.”

"[It's] 2020 and we want [African football] to grow, that's not how we're going to get there!!!,” he concluded.
