Manchester United will consider a swap deal with Serie A giants Inter Milan for midfielders Eric Eriksen and Fred.
Eriksen has not had a perfect start to his Inter life and with United having been keen in the player before, Corriere dello Sport says United are open to signing the player with Inter happy to let that deal happen if they can get Fred in return.
Fred has been one of the most important players for United this season and it remains to be seen if the club will be willing to let go of one of their most prized asset currently.
United was interested in Eriksen prior to signing Bruno Fernandes but their interest cooled after landing the Portuguese. The club said to be one of his biggest admirers with his Premier League experience said to be a key factor.
Eriksen, formerly of Tottenham, stated this week that he will be willing to look for new offers if he can’t get more playing time at Inter something that has alerted many clubs with the latest reports indicating that Arsenal too was interested in a swap deal.
