FC Barcelona form after their 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Saturday night is their worst in 25 years.
The Ronald Koeman side have only picked 11 of the first 24 points on offer to them with the team having recorded three wins, two draws and three losses in their eight games in Laliga this season.
According to Marca this is the worst Blaugrana side in the last 25 years with such an outing not recorded since the 1995/96 season.
Their other torrid starts came in 2002/03 and 2003/04 when they had three wins, three draws and two losses in their opening eight games, giving them 12 points, one more than coach Ronald Koeman has managed.
They lost three in 2000/01 as well, but they won four games and had 13 points, still better than the position they currently find themselves in.
Koeman will be hoping that his side can change their fortunes starting with their midweek Champions League test against Dynamo Kyiv with their next league game being against Osasuna.
