Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho has admitted that he had a hard spell during his transfer saga to Man United.
Sancho was billed to move to Old Trafford in the summer but a deal fell through after United failed to meet Dortmund’s asking price for the player.
The 20-year-old has been far from impressive in some matches this season with many linking his form to the failed move to United.
In an interview with DAZN (ht ESPN)after their Champions League win over Clubb Brugge, Sancho said: "I am just happy that I am playing. I have coaches and teammates that believe in me. Recently, it's been a hard situation for me.
"But it's all about how I come back and have performances like this. They will hopefully get me back to the top, how I was playing before."
The player is yet to score in the Bundesliga so far this season in six appearances and has only provided two assists; this after scoring 17 goals and assisting another 16 in the previous campaign.
