English Premier League wants to raid Real Madrid again this time for the services of midfielder Isco.
The North London club has Dani Ceballos from the Laliga giants on loan but feels that they can re-enter the negotiation table with the club for the Spaniard.
Mikel Arteta is looking for a playmaker with the future of Mesut Ozil already decided and according to Defensa Central, the Premier League club are in the pole position among clubs interested in Isco.
The player had been linked with a move to Everton too but latest reports indicate that Carlo Ancelotti won’t be provided with more cash for another signing going by the transfer he did in the summer.
Arsenal is yet to submit any formal offer for the player but has plans of getting him on a loan deal in January with an option to secure his services permanently should he impress although the potential value of that transfer has not been disclosed.
Real Madrid is said to be open for offers and even though they are not keen to let the player leave in January, the Spaniard wants to be part of the Spain squad for next year’s Euros and hence will require more game time at club level if he is to realize his dream.
Isco has only mustered a total of just over 2,200 minutes of league football since the start of the 2018/19 campaign, falling behind the likes of Vinicius Junior, Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio and Martin Odegaard in the pecking order.
