English Championship side Derby County might rope the services of Burnely FC coach Sean Dyche according to reports.
Derby is currently being led by England great Wayne Rooney with the added support of fellow coaches Justin Walker, Liam Rosenior and Shay Given.
According to The Sun via Derbyshire Live, Dyche is being considered as a possible option to replace Phillip Cocu at Pride Park after the Dutchman left Derby on November 14 with Rooney being among the candidates for the job.
Derby is on the verge of a takeover by Dubai-based Abu Dhabi royal Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan and they want a manager who can lead the team back to the Premier League.
Burnley is set to begin talks about a new contract with Dyche as a takeover of their own looms by United States businessman Alan Pace; the manager’s current contract with the Premier League team set to be up in 2022.
Dyche has led the Turf Moor side to promotion from the Championship twice and is believed to be an ideal candidate for the Derby position. The position believed to have attracted former England captain John Terry too.
