KCCA registered their second successive win in the Uganda Premier League after beating Onduparaka 8-0 in a match staged at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday.
Following a bright start, KCCA took the lead in the 17th minute through Brian Ahebwa who calmly beat Onduparaka's goalkeeper, connecting from Ssenyonjo's beautiful pass.
Six minutes later, Herbert Achai made it 2-0 as the forward caught Ondu's keeper off his line before they grabbed the second from 35 yards. KCCA got their third not long after the second as Achai and Ssenyonjo combined so well before Ssenyonjo scored his fifth goal of the club in just six appearances.
In the 37th minute, Ssenyonjo scored the fourth goal for the hosts, capitalizing on the goalkeeper's mistake. Aheebwa took a shot that was parred by the Caterpillar's keeper before Ssenyonjo moved quickly to grab his second of the game and sixth in six appearances with a tap in.
Just before half time, the hosts were awarded a penalty after Kigozi Andrew was brought down inside the danger zone. Aheebwa was the man to step in and take it, making to mistake to ensure they head into first half with 5-0 up.
In the second half, Ssenyonjo completed his hattrick in style as he slotted home Kizito's pass. Minutes later, there was another hattrick and this time from Aheebwa who made it 7-0 in favor of the home team.
The home team almost lost the count in the 73rd minute as Aheebwa made it 8-0, scoring his fourth goal of the match.
KCCA who are now on top of the table with six points after two matches will now take on Mbarara City in their next UPL match.
