Brazilian striker Hulk has confirmed he has left the Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG.
Hulk, who has been with SIPG since 2016 June confirmed his departure via his Instagram account showing gratitude to the club he helped with the Super League 2018.
"To the board and the players, my thanks for sharing so many years of work and dedication. Together we have had numerous successes (...) but also moments of improvement where we trust each other, with great unity and the will to win," the player wrote.
"I will continue my career, with a professional background that I am very proud of," he stated.
"Thank you Shanghai SIPG, thank you China" in Chinese, which seems to suggest that the scorer's next team will be far from the Asian country."
Hulk, who also won Super Cup with SIPG, has netted 76 goals in 145 appearances for the club since his arrival from the Russian side Zenit.
