Gor Mahia assistant captain Phillemon Otieno has offered an apology to all club's stakeholders following their huge loss to Belouizdad on Saturday evening.
Gor Mahia suffered a 6-0 loss in the hands of Algeria side Belouizdad in the First Round of the CAF Champions League. Otieno admits it was a big learning process for the club and have to pull up if they want to achieve their goals this season.
"On behalf of fellow players, l would like to apologise for the loss against Belouizdad. It’s football and we learned our lessons," he said as quoted by the club's official website.
"It’s a wake-up call for us to pull up if we want to achieve our goals for this season," he added.
K'Ogalo had conceded four goals at half time before the Algerian side made it 6-0 in the second half.
