Chelsea FC outcast Fikayo Tomori is on the verge of completing a move to Premier League newbies Leeds United.
The England international has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and with the Euros coming up later this year, the player wants more game time to boost his chances of making the squad.
The BBC now reports that the player who had strongly been linked with a move last summer will be moving to Elland Road as the Premier League side looking to shore up their defense that has been leaking a lot of goals.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is keen to take the central defender as cover for Robin Koch, who is out with a long-term injury.
Apart from Leeds, the player has been linked with a move to Newcastle United too with the player reported to have backed out of a loan move to West Ham in the final stages of the summer transfer window.
He is expected to make a loan move this time around, having slipped down the pecking order of center-backs at Stamford Bridge – particularly since the arrival of Thiago Silva.
Tomori was a key member of the Chelsea team last summer and managed 22 games but that has been different this season where he has only made three appearances in all competitions for the club.
Apart from Tomori, Chelsea is set to ship a chunk of players from the team this month with the group including midfielder Danny Drinkwater, who is being linked with a potential move to Germany.
