Man United set Paul Pogba price as PSG ponders move

Speculation surrounding the future of Paul Pogba has resurfaced again with reports indicating that Manchester United are ready to part ways with the player.

Pogba has constantly been linked with a move away from Old Trafford since last summer but a deal hasn’t been struck with his agent Mino Raiola claiming late last year that his client might leave the club in the summer.

The Mirror via Express now claims that United are willing to let the player leave the club for £75m with Paris Saint Germain said to be keen on the player but Juventus and Real Madrid remain the frontrunners in the race to sign the 27-year-old. The price tag is £14m less than the £89m United paid to re-sign the midfielder back in 2016.

The reports claim that Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign the 2018 World Cup winner but they will have to dig deep in their coffers after United extended Pogba’s deal earlier in the season to avoid losing the France international for free.

While Pogba might fancy a move to Madrid and a return to Juve, the two teams are not willing to part with the money United is asking for a move that gives PSG some advantage going by the resources at their disposal.
