Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen has completed the signing of Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Manchester United on a permanent deal.
Fosu-Mensah joins Leverkusen from United for an undisclosed fee after passing medical with the Bundesliga side. The move brings Fosu-Mensah’s time as a United player to an end after nearly seven years, having first joined the club’s academy from Ajax at the age of 16.
The 23-year-old has been out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, making just three starts in nearly four years, and rejected a contract extension earlier in the campaign.
