Serie A giants Inter Milan have enquired about the possibility of signing Manchester United midfielder Donny van De Beek on a loan deal.
De Beek joined United in the summer from Ajax but has failed to cement a place in the starting team with worries lingering over his future at Old Trafford.
While he has been a key member of the Netherlands national team, the midfielder has constantly been urged to consider his options at United by former Dutch players and coaches as they argue that he won't be the same player he has been when they get to the Euros in the summer.
Now FCInterNews.it claims that Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio has been in touch with the Premier League club in the past few days to enquire if they can get the player on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The tabloid claims that Inter is in talks with the players' representatives too but United would not want to let the 23-year-old leave the club on a temporary basis with the deal depending on outgoing transfers and Christian Eriksen’s departure.
Eriksen isn’t part of the Inter team as revealed by the cub bosses last year and is thought to be considering a move this January with Inter keen to let him leave if they can find a suitable offer.
