Kenyan international Michael Olunga has thanked Kashiwa Reysol after completing his move to Qatar side Al-Duhail SC.
Olunga joined Qatari-based side Al Duhail from Japanese J-League 1 club Reysol and made his debut against Al-Sadd as they suffered a 3-1 loss. Olunga who was handed the number 27 jersey posted on his Twitter account to thank the J-League 1 side.
"It is with great pleasure that I hereby thank the entire Kashiwa Reysol family for your support for the past two and a half years," he wrote.
"My sincerest gratitude goes to the management, the team, and the supporters. I appreciate the confidence you all showed in me and for the opportunity you provided for me to represent you on the football pitch."
Olunga left the Japanese club after a three-year stay where he netted 28 goals in his final season, emerging as the J1-League's Most Valuable Player (MVP).
