Liverpool through manager Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on Virgil van Dijk injury.
Speaking ahead of their Thursday game against Burnley, the German revealed that the Dutchman was progressing well with his injury but was not sure when he will be back into action.
“I don’t know what is possible and what is not possible; I don’t think I’m the right person to judge that 100 percent. He looks really good. I spoke to him this morning – he is in a really good mood. So it’s all very promising.
“But I don’t know when he will be back. But for the time we are in and for how long he is out now, how long the rehabilitation is going on, he looks really, really promising,” Klopp said.
The 29-year-old has been out for three months with ligament damage after picking the injury in the draw against Everton in October after a clash with keeper Jordan Pickford.
His absence at the Liverpool defense has been felt with the defending champions conceding eight goals in the 13 league games that he has missed.
