Manchester United summer signing Facundo Pellistri is a target of both Belgian giants Clube Brugge and Spanish side Alaves.
A report from Goal via Daily Mail indicates that the two clubs are the frontrunners for the player’s signature despite United having received numerous offers for the player who is yet to make a senior appearance for United.
Despite impressing at the club’s youth level, the management at United feels that the first-team experience from another league will equip the player with the needed skills to compete for a position come next season.
The Uruguayan cost around £9m after arriving from Montevideo-based outfit Penarol and according to the reports, he has always been keen to move to Spain but Brugge deal appeals to him as they are in the market for a right-winger.
Brugge is currently top of the Belgian top flight and will compete in the Europa League after being knocked out of the Champions League group stage; two reasons why a move to Belgium is an enticing one for the player.
Solskjaer said he was more than happy for Pellistri to enjoy a short term loan as they have an able replacement in Amad Diallo who is expected to make his debut for the club soon.
