Arsenal's new signing Martin Odegaard will wear the No. 11 shirt and could feature for his club against Manchester United over the weekend.
Odegaard completed his loan move from Real Madrid to Arsenal for the remainder of the season. The midfielder has been handed shirt No. 11, previously worn by Lucas Torreira who joined Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
"I spoke to him before coming here. That was very important for me. He seems like a top manager and I liked his ideas, the way he sees football, and also the way he is. He gave me a great feeling and that was important for me to come here. He was crucial," said the midfielder after his announcement," said 22-year-old on his arrival.
The 22-year-old hit the headlines in 2015 when he moved to Madrid as a 16-year-old.
