Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel says he will continue with the team rotation in the upcoming games following Sunday's victory over Burnley.
Tuchel registered his first victory as Chelsea boss following a 2-0 victory over Burnley on Sunday. Cesar Azpilicueta netted the opener before Marcos Alonso grabbed the second minutes to stoppage time to send the Blues above Arsenal on the log.
Reeces James missed the second game under Tuchel while Ben Chilwell one of the most consistent players for Chelsea didn't play against Burnley.
Speaking after the game, Tuchel explained why he decided to hand Alonso a start ahead of Chilwell.
"Well if we manage to find a starting eleven that can guarantee us to win 20 in a row we will not change it. But it’s of course very unlikely this will happen," he said.
"We decided very late for the back three and two sixes, because of the impact we expected from Burnley, and they did very, very well. And we made changes offensively just to have different characteristics and give everyone a chance to show up in competition."
Tuchel's next assignment will be against Tottenham away at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 4th February.
