Frenchman Anthony Martial was substituted in Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Newcastle United on Sunday night after ignoring instructions from his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Mirror reports that the Norwegian wasn’t impressed by the player’s movement in the game and was heard shouting "start moving" and "some movement" at Martial before taking him off in the game.
Martial had been tasked to lead the club’s strike force in the absence of Edinson Cavani but once again misfired in what was a drab game before the break.
According to the reports, Solskjaer made it clear to Martial he wanted to see more from him in the second half but the Frenchman failed to improve his performance after the break. With Martial not able to put into use what his manager said, he was to be hooked for Mason Greenwood later in the game.
