London giants Arsenal could have another Ivory Coast international come the start of next season.
According to English media, Arsenal have identified Brugge’s 20-year-old central defender as a future Gunner.
“The 20-year-old Ivorian is one of the rising stars of African football,” The Mirror reported, as shared by the BBC.
“His impressive form this season has been a factor in his side’s climb to the summit of the Belgian top flight and their performances in the Europa League.
“Kossounou would cost around £8.5million with performance-related add-ons.
“Italian giants Inter Milan are also keen on the player - but have financial issues with regards to their Chinese owners, the Suning Group - and there is interest in him from Spain.”
Kossounou, a product of Ivorian giants Asec Mimosa, has played 21 games of 26 matches as Brugge lead the Belgian top division with 12 points.
